Hi All

Continue to be amazed at how user friendly the whole XOOPS prog is - thanks to all.

Simple request, well hopefully! I need a module that will enable me to list categories such as dresses, books, cards, etc. and then when you click on that category you get a picture with a text alongside it describing the article and cost.

I don't need thumbnails and they won't be buying from the site as yet.

Any ideas.

Downloaded this module and installed. However, when I come to use it the link comes up with this error message:- wakka/HomePage was not found on this server.

Am I meant to create the homepage?

I have also found that links to the wakkawiki homepage are down and development seems to have stopped. Is this true and if so anybody else got a wiki they would recommend?

Hi

I am using Game Cube as my default theme. It is brilliant. I would like to change and I am unsure of doing is the two lines at the top that enclose the default image. How do I do that?

I would also like to display a different image for each page I have.

And finally, can I edit the footer.

Hi

When I type in a smiley, all I get in the document is the text that says what smiley it should be, not the graphic.

What do I do to get the graphic?

Having installed XOOPS with no problem and also a couple of modules, I find I cannot view the main menu list when I logout. On login I have a main menu list with wiki, gallery, contact us but when I logout all I have is home!

I have installed the Nintendo theme, could this be a problem with that.

Can anybody help please?!!!

Documentation - newbie route

Hi

I have just downloaded XOOPS and I am currently playing! I have looked at the documentation (not all of it but just what seems relevant to a newbie!) and I cannot find anything that takes you on a journey to set up a site!

What I mean is....
Ok you have just installed XOOPS for the first time, now what? Well here is what we did to set up a site that has a front page listing .....
The site also contains a wiki, a blog, a gallery, etc.

The document could then enable newbies to see step by set how to go about this.

I would gladly start to write my tails as I go along and pass it to the docs team. Would this help?
