Hello!
I'm testing the news module (v 1.44) on XOOPS 2.2.4 and I get to a strange problem I'm not getting through...
When I try to upload a file when inserting or editing news it seems like it 'looses' the variable's content, ie, when I define c:\mypic.jpg and click on 'post' or 'preview' this reference is 'deleted' and I can't get any files upload, but I don't get any error messages, though.
Has anyone experienced this issue? I looked throughout the forums and using the search, but I didn't find anything related to a bug or something like that... neither on the dev page...
One thing I already changed is to remove file check that was commented in one of the posts I found and this solved a nasty upload error message for invalid file type.
Any help welcomed!

Hello,
I'm making some changes to news module but I got kind of lost in one specific issue.
I've made some changes on the story's submit form... so far so good... but I'm not finding out where the heck is the code that stores this information into the database?
Can anyone point this out to me?

Hello all!
Is there any kind of module where I can have the functionality of the news modules but with the capability to upload photos and have the photo on the main page shown as a thumbnail? Kind of a Picture from News but with the capabiity of showing it bigger inside the news story

but i faced the same problem and when I entered the developer's website I found out that this is a bug they can't generate, so they consider it to be right

You will need to submit the above via a POST. I don't use Flash so have no idea on how to do a POST submit in Flash. Try looking through the Flash help for POST submits.
