I moved the center right block code and put it in the header and then applied a random image script in a custom block so that on each refresh or change of page in the site you get a new header.

See it in action HERE

I feel sure this must have been done before by someone,

In the wf-section pref's you can select between 1 to 7 titles to be listed in the section listings.

How can I increase the number of titles to 10 or even more?

Ive tried to find this bit of code without much success.

Cheers

I noticed on one of the themes with 2.2.2 that the user menu had been placed in the navbar.

I would like to do a similar thing on 2.0.13.1 but I cant get it to work.

Has anyone got any clues to how to achieve this?

Where am I going wrong?

I want to use the center right block in the header.
I did this before on an older XOOPS version but I cant seem to get it to work with V2.2.2

I created an extra cell in the header table and inserted,

Quote:

<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_crblocks}>
<{include file="default/blocks/theme_blockcenter_r.html"}>
<{/foreach}>

It don't work
What else should I have done?

But that section is for Smart Section,

My issue is with the Recent News block in the News Module v1.4

The recent news block uses the template,

news/templates/blocks/news_block_new.html
I think
this appears to write the following to the templates_c folder,
%%FF^FF2^FF2E54BB%%db%3Anews_block_top.html.php

I think I've found the section of code that checks if you want the list sorted by count or rating or by date but I can't see the section that deals with the way it is to be displayed.

Not very good with code

Hmmmm mine is not as can be seen from this section from a screenshot.
The site is concerning child protection hense the rather odd items!

Resized Image

Recent "procedure" updates is really smart section and recent downloads below it are both fine.

The top text colour I can change with the css file in the theme but the layout just doesn't look right?

Any clues how I can fix or remove the dates?

On my recent downloads block or recent articles block in Smart section etc I get a title followed by the published date.
However in the Recent News block the published date is before the title.

How can I either change this so the date comes after the Title or stop it showing at all?

Been away for a few months and on my return XOOPS has lept forward yet again.
I have three sites updated to 2.0.10 (the latest at the time)
I see 2.2 has arrived but what does this give us?

What are the key benefits 2.2 offers that do not exist with 2.0.10?

In short, is it worth changing my established, stable sites running on 2.0.10 to this new version?

Cheers

I've recently modded the Dream_on theme and placed the center right block in the header. I then placed a random picture script in a block.
End result is I get a random image in the header on each page or refresh.
IE and everything seems fine.

Mozilla Firefox - I can't get the block in the header to center, it seems always to align left.

Anybody know how to fix this?
