file removed, new file/thread:
https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?viewmode=flat&topic_id=14322&forum=4

Do not post this url anywhere else but xoops.org, since it will *not* work (i've disabled hotlinking from all sites, except for a few, such as xoops.org)

this is a small set of fixes, namely, 1 bug fixed, and a few language definitions corrected

changes:
----------
-- inserted hack/fix - corrects the url sent to admins when a new Article is submitted (bug: always said it was article=1)
-- corrected wrong language definitions in main.php, admin.php (bug: article submission showed undefined Thanks to the submitter, email showed undefined title, subject to admin, incorrect version in the footer of the admin section)
----------

there is still one bug from 1.01 (that i know of) that I could not quite figure out: if you try to save an article with no text, but you selected an html file, the admin interface will not let you continue, you must put some form of text into the Text box... if Catz or someone could fix this, i would be greatful, it's a hassle when i forget to put text in that box...

i've had a paypal account for well over a year, have it registered with 3 email addresses to the same account, never received spam due to paypal

they keep your record on file so that you can have an account with them, not to spam you

personally, i love paypal, paypal is my friend lol

but that's not good if some module/block that he installs, calls upon those fields... cus then what if it's some type of personal information that he needs to have users added in, and it gets displayed on the front page somewhere? ehehe

but with those unlikely issues aside, your solution might be fine :-X

i do think his comment was overly harsh, but it does kinda bother me that almost all your themes are the same design, just with different graphics

check out Imago Themes, they have multiple themes for xoops, yet hardly any of the themes resemble each other... they are all very nice themes in their own way, and they go further to avoid the standard 'portal' appearance

don't get me wrong, i do like your themes, but if you truly want to get away from the 'xoopsy' look, then try totally redesigning the html layout, and i'll bet you'll get more fans

ah, sorry m8, it's been months since that error happened to my friend

i followed the download urls, and as it turns out, sourceforge (or our browsers, or both) is improperly trying to send the files as .gz, but if you look at the download url, it's supposed to be .tgz

so either rename to .tar.gz or .tgz, should fix your problems

wf-channels, uploading html, altering html

i've been playing with wfchannel for a couple of hours now, and i love it

from what i can tell, when you use a static html page, it scans the page and pulls the html to store in the database? if i'm wrong, please tell me

so, if that's the case, then why not give the ability to modify the 'stored' html when you click on Modify...

also, it would be nice to have the option to upload static html pages, not just the images

other than that, excellent job m8, you've done well

heh, i remember that happened to a friend of mine, it's the program that you're using to extract the files...

try installing winrar (google it), use that to extract, it's never given me any problems...

i think winzip is what extracts the files in a weird way (or if you were familiar enough with linux command line, you could download and extract it on your remote acct, via ssh or telnet)

it's always an unexpected surprise when some jerk posts a pr0n site in an unrelated thread to get clicks...
