Nothing to see, only errors:

"; exit; } $db = mysql_connect("localhost","TFOD","") or mysql_die("Unable to connect"); mysql_select_db("tfod_uk_db",$db); $requete = "SELECT * FROM artical WHERE id=1"; $result = mysql_query ($requete,$db)or mysql_die("No record"); $article =mysql_fetch_object($result); mysql_free_result($result); ?> titre ?>
chapeau_long ?>

corps ?>

Hsalazar is right. A few days ago I've tried to clone this module myself.
That what is put by its developer within the modinfo file:
Quote:
//***********************************************************************//
// No language config below! Only if you want to change the Prefix //
// or the directory of the module! So you can sipmly duplicate this //
// module by copying it in another folder and change the settings below! //
// Also before install a clone change the prefix in the sql file! //
//***********************************************************************//

define("_MI_TINYCONTENT_PREFIX", "tinycontent");
define("_MI_DIR_NAME", "tinycontent");

Doesn't work at all for cloning.
You have to rename everything.

(lost also track of this thread sorry for my late respond.)

Does this make sense? It would be like a mini-WF-Section module, only for static content... and without the many bells and whistles...

This does make a lot of sence.

I've tried to use the TC as an 'about' module. Putted some subitems -of items I've created- within its xoopsversion.php etc., to realise what I wanted. Instead of using its block.
As you can imagine this way of working is not quit of handy, especially when there are some changes made afterwoods....

I recommend myself as a 'playlover' with such an about module

I think that's all. If you have any problems, please post them here to make the necessary corrections.

Not quit
You forgot to mention the sql file. This file needs also to be corrected into name of his rewritten module.
Ie.:
Previous 'tinycontent'
New modname: 'mymodule' (sportsdraw)

Otherwise it doesn't connect to the correct DB tables of the rewritten TContent module.

[edit]

Wait a minute,.........within this tinycontent module I found a writing from its developer.
Open: modinfo.php
It says:
Quote:
//***********************************************************************//
// No language config below! Only if you want to change the Prefix //
// or the directory of the module! So you can sipmly duplicate this //
// module by copying it in another folder and change the settings below! //
// Also before install a clone change the prefix in the sql file! //
//***********************************************************************//

define("_MI_TINYCONTENT_PREFIX", "tinycontent");
define("_MI_DIR_NAME", "tinycontent");

Try to do exactly what he's saying here. Change both lines tinycontent into sportsdraw and open your sqlfile and change also tinycontent prefix into sportsdraw.
Upload, install and see what happens.

No, a questionnaire is a list of questions ppl can fill in and send. Not a poll, but in Dutch enquete.

Ahh,...such a module thing. Thanks for explaining Herko...learned something new.

You mean like a FAQ?
There are 2 modules:
the standard build in xoopsfaq and the WFFaq.
Look at modules (downloads) here and at modcentral, or http://wfsections.xoops2.com/modules/news/.

The possibility I am missing concerning the Private messages part is an admin limitation setting.
Notifications are default send as a PM, and if users are also frequently using this PM-option without cleaning their in-outbox up, it will take a lot of unneccesary DB-space.

It would be nice if this admin feature is gonna be build in within the XOOPS version, or somebody creates a hack to realise this.

Just stumbled into this topic.
For now weeks I am busy with also a mylinks rewrite into a addresses module. Almost the same as this xdirectory module but less 'bussiness orientated'.
The fields I am using are:
name/organisation, addres, zip, city, country, phone, mobile, fax, contactemail, opened, description, show logo.

This module now runs for about 70%. The only probs I encouter are revisions within the admin section.
(it somehow doesn't show the modifications requests properly and therefore this part isn't working correctly at this moment.) And the show logo doesn't work well yet.

Hm, now I am thinking, should I stop with my further addresses module fiddling, or..........?

Just to get it clear:
Does this mean that this Forum only concerns questions related to the new XOOPS 2.0 version and the other forums for the previous Xoops-versions?
