Hi, I am using XOOPS 1.3 with www.sermonindex.net and would like to added the comments feature on the downloads section of my site. Does anyone know how to do this or have a hack of this module already? I know XOOPS v2 has this feature but I am hesitant to upgrade because of all the modifications I have done with the prior version.

I just noticed you 'are' running on 1.x, (I think) so I don't know how I can assist. Sorry for the misleading post.

It's ok! anyone else have any ideas.. download the zip above and take a look. There are lots of people using 1.3 that could benefit from this feature.

Hi Greg, I've tried to search from the website but it doesn't let me. There
must be an option in the PHP script to accept a query from the address bar.

From the form you have, this is what is required (but doesn't work):

http://www.sermonindex.net/search.php?results=action&query=[SEARCH]

The toolbar always replaces [SEARCH] with the keywords in the search box.

Please let me know if you can set the script so that it can search from the
browser's address bar.

can anyone help.. I am trying to make an IE Toolbar and have the search box access the XOOPS search function on my site www.sermonindex.net

I just think that this webchat module is better than most out there and it would be great to have it working with xoops. Many people could benefit from using it. Can anyone help?

I got the WebChat module and it installed fine! But when I click on the Webchat link in the main menu the page that loads is blank?

my site is: www.sermonindex.net

I am using this version:

#####################################################
# Based on WebChat
# Original version by David "Cyklone" Thompson
#http://naturald.sytes.net
#
# adapted for XOOPS 1.0 RC3
# by Pascal Le Boustouller
# pascal@xoopsien.net -http://www.xoopsien.net
# Licence: GPL
#
# Merci de laisser ce copyright en place...
#####################################################

please let me know what anyone thinks and if you can help out at all?

thanks
Greg

I am curious did anyone ever come up with a Bible module for XOOPS ?

I am dying to find one for xoops. It would be great to just have a searchable KJV bible as an module that shows a link in the left hand menu. I runhttp://www.sermonindex.net which gets quite a few hits. I am sure there are lots of other big Christian sites that run XOOPS that could benefit in a GREAT way if there was a module like this. Why doesn't some christian programmer just go ahead and do it. It would be kewl to have a neat verse and key word search and also commentaries, etc.. most of it is open source and if you read this entire thread most of the work has been done.. ie translated info into sql files. email me at: sermonindex@msn.com if you need any help or a tester.
