I am currently helping a Voluntary Organisation build a website for public viewing and a private section for their Advocates – hence why I’m using XOOPS

Can I please have some suggestions on the best Module to build static information pages. I am currently experimenting with Content, but the more I look around other XOOPS sites, the more ways I find to “skin a cat“ !

The solution I find needs to be the easiest for their staff to update the site.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look athttp://www.dunfermlineadvocacy.org - Ignore poor page formatting, as this was caused by cutting and pasting from a word document I was given.

Thanks

I made the changes suggested, and updated the module, but still the "teaser" is not visible in the Recent News Block.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ?

I was wondering if is possible for a Webmaster account to be able to add\edit users Avatar?

Most of my users have basic IT skills and adding their own Avatar is beyond most of them

This may be simple, but I cannot find the answer by searching.

I have installed Private Messaging 0.1 in XOOPS 2.2.3 Full, and would like it to show the "Inbox" in the User Menu, but NOT show "Private Messaging" in the Main Menu.

Can this be done?

Thanks

Thanks Jyotirmaya - That's what it was.

Boy - do I feel stupid !!

Many thanks for checking for the obvious, and saving me hours of re-work.

Always yours

I tried that on both sites, and it made no difference.

The only fix I could find was to re-install
