Thanks, for the responses!

@m0nty

I have the default start page set to none.

The blocks are set to only load in top page, not all pages.

Maybe this is just an issue with the forum module and not Xoops.

@Gambero

I have tried the myHome mod and while it is very close to what I want it isn't quite there. I like the way the text of the blocks look when bordered on either side by the other blocks on my start page.

Question about Blocks and Start page

Does anyone know of a way to set a block as the start page instead of a module?

I have some custom block as my startpage and when the page loads they show uo correctly.

The problem comes when someone exits out of the IPBoard forums. The News module is displayed instead of the blocks I have in my start page.

I have edited the settings for the IPBoard and it still happens.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have searched on this.

What file contains the text for the validation email?

There is a typo in it I would like to change.

Thanks!

Update:

I fixed the issue with the graphic not displaying by changing the option in Firefox that says "load images from the oringinating website only".

Now, the only problem is with the colors of the boxes that contain the temperature readings. They are all gray when they should be in color.

The colors show up like they are supposed to in IE but not in any version of Firefox.

Thanks!

I had a similar problem.

I could get the verification email at my personal email account but could not at my work nor could my wife.

I changed the mail delivery method from phpmail to sendmail and it worked at the office.

Would anyone mind enlightening me as to why that made a difference?

Thanks in advance!!!

I copied some of this text from the comments of the module listing itself:

"Hello, I was trying to find the code that generates the colored cells that display the current, high, and low temps... Firefox just displays grey boxes b/c the color codes don't include the # and also, IE on a pc, the block blows the left rail out of wack... was wanting to resize the block table a bit...."

I am having the same issue.
FF doesn't show the graphic and IE does.

Update: the problem is only exhibited on box running 1.4 of FF. The other two boxes running 1.0 and 1.3 display everything just fine.

Any ideas?
