Hi there,

I'm getting some errors after I installed MyAlbum-P.

First of all I get these messages on my index page.

Warning [PHP]: main() [function.main]: open_basedir restriction in effectFile(/usr/lib/php/include/get_perms.phpis not within the allowed path(s): (/mntin file modules/myalbum/xoops_version.php line 112

Second thing, when I hit the link to MyAlbum in the main menu I get this:

Fatal errorOnly variables can be passed by reference in /mnt/storage/users/x/o/o/xoopss/modules/myalbum/index.php on line 50

The above error happened before with some other modules.

Thanks david you helped a lot. Everything is working now, dummy file was generated when I updated the module. Dont' know why it hasn't in the first place but no matter.

Thanks again!

Thanks for your post, I believe that's the problem. I say believe because, as usual, things aren't working as they should.

First of all, when I click the list link by the System templates I can't find system_block_dummy in there anywhere. I do have a system_dummy but that isn't it.

Problem is I don't have 1 file in here that has a "generate" link, I got "View" and "Donwload" on all :/

Any ideas?

Yes I did, first I Tried html (I just wanted an image to show) and I chose HTML.

I also get this error if I leave the content blank.

Warning [Xoops]: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "db:system_block_dummy.html" in file class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1084

------------------------------------------------------------

Do I need to set something in general admin or anything of that sort in order to get this up and running?

I'm not talking about AMS, I'm talking about everything else. Like WFLinks, Multimenu and others.

When I make a custom block I can't make nothing appear in it. It's currently in centre-right and I tried BB, html but nothing is working. Any ideas?

Thanks but I don't seem to know which files to CHMOD in all those modules. Do I have to visit the author's site of every module to see this?

Also I get the open_basedir restriction in effect a lot. How do I fix this?

Ok if you say it works, but can you tell me how to install it cuz I'm obviously doing somethign wrong. I uploaded my AMS folder (I named it XOOPS2_mod_AMS_2.41) with everything inside to my modules directory and when I went to modules admin it said "module fire not found" and respectively I couldn't install it.

Brash said about naming structure, could you explain please?

And what will I find there? When I install it I get some errors ... beneath my site I get like 20 lines of PHP warnings etc calling for various errors, can't print them all now. Same thing with most of the modules. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but neither of them has an installation guide.
