This fix for wfdownloads (2.04 +) was a little difficult to find, so I thought I would post it.

Open:
modules/wfdownloads/include/downloadinfo.php

Look For:
XOOPS_URL . '/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=' . $down_arr['cid'] . '&lid=' . $down_arr['lid']);

Replace To:
XOOPS_URL . '/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?lid=' . $down_arr['lid']);

This should work!

This is a very exciting module! I am stoked about it's ability to wrap whole php scripts in xoops.

I am looking to write a very clear FAQ on this subject, because many users have asked about wrapping a whole website, or group of pages. If we can make this a well documented process, it will be valuable.

We do need better documentations for much of XOOPS 'stuff'. I find too many faq docs, of such unique modules, written in broken english. Thanks Richard and to all who noticed this module.

I take everything you said into great consideration, thank you for your thoughts and more knowledgable information.

This is what it has come down to...
'module like' blocks within columns vs. the ability to create a user web page. If these editors are included in a plain block would this cover the novice users? As you described to create a webpage, a full html document.

This is very useful information to help the development of an acceptable homepages module. I will learn by example and dig into this module, thank you. Since you have been toying with the issue for a long time, please share your other useful tips.

Thank you all for your remarks.

It needs is a way to sort &/or search homepages in the page that lists them all.
I don't think XOOPS search is needed here, might be an in-page simple java-script that will jump to the right place.
I simply thinking of a 500 - 1500 homepages website.

Yes, I could see how this could be a problem for large websites. Maybe organise the homepages better by granting groups access with within many different category.

The XOOPS search is functional in this module. The results are interesting, it displays contents blocks containing the searched term and displays which content pages hold those blocks.

Finally! Hehehe.
Anticipated by many XOOPS webmasters, this is the first release of the long overdue Members Homepages module.

It allows the webmaster to provide the users of a website the ability to create and maintain their own personal homepage with their own content. It is based on the original obs_classroom module by Mithrandir.

Features:
- Admin can create multiple categories and sub-categories
- Admin can give group permissions to add/edit homepages in each category
- Users can create multiple pages
- Users can create multiple content blocks
- Users can show same content block across multiple pages
- Users can give other members permission to edit their homepages
- Plugin new content blocks for users to have added functionality on their homepages

Members Homepages Module
Read More - Download - Demo - Install/Usage - Development/Support

Please give me your feedback so I can improve this module. We are currently looking to put together a development team to improve this module. Thank you!

Will each user have the option for his pages, or will it be by groups, or maybe a few user with a shered pages ?

If only specific groups are to create homepages, give those groups access rights to the 'Edit/Create Homepage' block. If I can make homepages duplicatable (fingers crossed) then classified group homepages will be easier to maintain. The homepage owner has the option to grant extra members access to edit their homepage... (each family will have it's home in the site)

If that's what you mean .. it'll be great

What I mean is,
cat1, cat2 :: subcat1, subcat2 :: homepages (LIST OF HOMEPAGES)

may I suggest that there Will be a posibility to skip one section (eg: Category :: Homepages) ?

It is possible to remove subcategories to get eg: Category :: Homepages. Beta testers are welcome, thank you.

Im willing for a good danoation if this will help you to go faster for this amazing project!
and i mean it, i have already help other developers too.
what do u think?

All I want out of this is some cool musician homepages, I do everything to support local music scenes. Like you said, "help you to go faster," if it would help I will let you know. Give some money to Mithrandir, he is the true hero and developed the original module. Maybe he would be willing to give a hand after this generosity.

Will you consider to make a default/sample homepage for user selection? It can be their first big step!

I think general user may know nonething about homepage building by their own.

Exactly what I was thinking. There would need to be user documents, demo homepage, and thinking of adding small user tips throughout the templates.

Thank you all for your interest. Between my band practices and work I am booked up this week. At the moment, everyday I can only get in a few hours of work in, the morning and late at night. I really want this as much of all of you and will continue the best I can. Hopefully be this weekend I could have something to show. I'm so excited!
