Problems With New Signups...

I put my site online Friday and I've had (so far) 2 people say they couldn't register. I end up having to register them manually and then when they go in to change anything in their profile, this is what they end up sending me via comment:

'Thanks, I'm able to log in now. But for some reason
it doesn't want to save changes to my profile. When
I submit the page, I get a page that says:

Errors

None

But when I go look at my profile, none of the changes
I put in are there.'

Any ideas why it would do this? They've tried Mozilla and IE 6.

XoopsForge 2.0.6 Error On Install

Trying to go ahead and get XOOPS Forge installed. Uploaded everything per the Instructions and set the write permissions.

Tried to run the install and get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: setprefix() in /********/xf/install.php on line 57

Can someone point me in the right direction?

OK - did that and it worked GREAT - Until - I went to the Forums (I'm running the phpBB2 port) and then it bombed the board.

I went ahead and removed it for now until I can figure something else out.

Rats - I can't seem to get the PHP-Stats. I'm guessing you have to signup for an account but I can't even see where that is. :/

Is there a way for the system to keep a person logged in so they don't have to keep doing it everytime they revisit the site?

I know it probably has to do with cookies but not sure what to set.

That's pretty sweet carnuke - about as close to MS-Analysis as anything. Where might a person pick that up? :)

This module is EXACTLEY what I wanted. :)

I didn't have to make any modifications to the core XOOPS files though and everything seems to be working. :)

I saw the newbb plus on modcentral but I believe that's for a different fork of xoops?

Was hoping maybe someone did an actual port of phpBB2 because I really need all the features that it has over newbb.

I have a forum that I want everyone to be able to read, but only have a certain group of people post.

Is there a way to do that in 2.0.6? :)
