Re: List Links In Alphabetical Order???

10x riaan
yep, catz responsible to some of the good things in here
I'm new to smarty and XOOPS module dev, so let me understand some things :

you mean that I need to put the "letters" function on top of the module's "index.php"
then to call it in the template file as
<{$letters}>

and to create a "viewlist.php" with your database calls...

Did I got it right

Business Directory hack

Does somebody have a hack q mod for one of the business directories (xdirectory or Address Module) ?

Xdirectory looks fine, but lake of alphabeticaly (phonebook style) order option, and looks too much like the "links module" that it came from.... I wonder if somebody hacked it to look better and is willing to share

10x

Yellow Pages - alphabeticaly listing

Hello builderb
Great Module, exactly what I needed, your site is great too .. al the compliments you got here were right !!!

Is there any progress with the module? I installed it in a new site I'm developing, but for me it's quite useless without the alphabeticaly listing (the search would be great too, but the alphabeticaly listing is simply a must for me)
can you please just post the viewalpha.php file ?

Re: Xoops or PHP Nuke? I dont know!

Hello Max
From all CMS (and I've more or less tryed them all), XOOPS rocks for it's stability, It's great community (peoples are actually living the XOOPS here, and acts as if it's a living thing ), the simple and reliable installation process, The fact that you can move it to another server/path with an amasing ease (I did it 4 times with 3 different websites, and not a slight problem), It's strong security, and, well, did I mention all

well, One thing is actually against xoops: very hard to find nice themes, this community is lake of telented designers, though it gets a bit better during time (I hope I'm not offending anyone, it simply is a fact )
