I finally found out that it's an issue with my browser - Opera v7.21.

It's working fine with K-Meleon 0.8.2 and IE6.

Thanks for all the inputs guys. :)

short of reinstalling xcg 1.1 again (which i'm holding off for now), i still experience the same problem - i cant upload pictures direct to XCG.

after clicking on "upload picture", i go to the upload page which doesn't display correctly ( a blank page actually. and it takes an abnormally long time to load), and i would have to refresh the page just to view it correctly.

i already enabled the PHP debugging. But i can't find errors in my error log.

Can you rank the following from best to worst? netpbm, GD 1.0, or GD 2.0 (assuming all of them are available in your server)

I use the following versions:
PHP Version 4.3.3
Mysql Version 4.0.18-standard

For the image package, i use
Netpbm

on a different subdomain, i run a stand-alone Coppermine which works fine.

I have managed to install XCG 1.1 in my XOOPS 2.06. I'll call it a partical success coz though i can upload pix via ftp, i can't upload pictures direct to XCG - all i get is blank page.

the albums directory (and directories below it) have 777 permissions already.

what am i doing wrong?

am testing piCal right now (after trying out the humongous Agenda-X module) .

all major settings were left at default configuration. in my test data, i only have one event in my database (spanning a sigle day), but I can see several dates in the calendar marked as Holidays.

In the year view, there are also several underlined dates, but when I click on them, they are just blanks.

What gives?

EDIT
hmm ... i noticed that I got the same holidays as the one in the calendar of Peaks XOOPS and Experiment site. Is piCal supposed to share those data? (i only have 1 entry in my events database)
