I am also now getting this same problem.

Just upgraded to 2.0.5.2

Now I get a 644 error even when directory CHMODed to 777 and I get a missing image placeholder in the list even though the image is present in the uploads directory.

WF-Channel and Sub-menus

Am generating a new site and using WF-Channel for the first time. This is a superb module! Thanks Catz!

Am having one problem - the Link to Us and Refer A Friend pages are not showing up in the sub-menu regardless of which option I check under administration. The links show up on the main page, but not the submenu. Anybody figure this out.

I did a forum search and saw similar issues but no solutions.

Everything else works great.

Thanks in advance.

Hey - you do have access to my 'puter?

Just kidding. Thanks for posting this. This is actually something I am including in the XOOPS Product Development roadmap.

You are RIGHT on target.

Lemme know if you want to join my development team!

Draven,

Thanks for the find. This is pretty huge.

Wierd how it was something so simple, huh? Makes you want to smack your forehead and do a Homer Simpson.

"DOH!"

I just resolved this issue on my own site.

Go into phpmyadmin and check the xoops_session table. If it is corrupt then you'll need to just replace the structure of that table.

That's it - fixed everything.

Hope that helps,

I am looking forward to this module! It'll make a great addition.

I was thinking that it might be sweet, as I've seen on others sites, to have a bar indicating progress. Kinda like polls. Except you go into the module and update the progress % using a drop down list or something.

Eventually it'd be nice to be able to break it down to sub-goals? Like project management - and as you accomplish one you check it off and it auto updates the progress meter.

Erm...just some ideas. You can just ignore me if you want. HAHA. You got me thinking though!

Here are some additional ideas:

1) Can folks be automatically moved from "paying" group to "free" group upon notification from PayPal?

2) Also, pseudocron checking of accounts that have not selected auto-renew. Perhaps at a specific time each day, it checks the database for accounts that have X days prior to the renewal date (set by admin) and sends out a message asking them to renew if they would like to continue service with a link to the appropriate page.

3) Same as 2 but a message going out to the auto-renew folks that they have been renewed. Like a receipt.

Thanks again!

Dan

For the XOOPS (for Business) community.

Thank you in advance for the time you will put into this. As you say this is desperately needed.

Great news all the way around Catz!

I understand about the separation of modules from core. I have to watch my language and not call them core modules anymore. Perhaps "standard modules" would be better terminology.

Thanks for the updates, I love hearing what's on the horizon!

Great suggestions already from everybody!

I would like to add a suggestion for a new core module. I believe that a newsletter module should be added as a core content related module. There should be content hooks for the core modules: news, links, newbb, faq, members, etc. These hooks should tell XOOPS to "place this content, in this location, representing this timeframe".

Thus once you set you your newsletter template, it can be automagically generated by the system and sent out to members who have elected to receive the newsletter.

Also, people should be able to sign up for the newsletter but not membership.

Thanks for listening!

Later,

Dan
