I just did a look at your site.
I don't see any error message, although PHP debug is set to 1.

It seems to be that within the php.ini the display_errors is off. So we can't see any error messages.

Your site shows only:
<html><body></body></html>

Maybe it's a permission problem of templates_c.
Check chmod of templates_c (if templates_c is empty, I would assume it's a wrong permission of templates_c)

If this doesn't help, please check whether display_errors is on or off (see within phpinfo () output)

If you could not change php.ini, you can try to set display_errors within a .htaccess file (if a .htaccess file is allowed on your site, and if you are allowed to override the settings).

I would have taken a look at the custom_filter_text.zip.
See that there are four files...
Would have taken the four files from the appropriate original XOOPS distribution (2.0.5.2, 2.0.6 or whatever version I have installed), and would have uploaded the appropriate four files to my site.
Would have hoped that this work.

Maybe, before installing the custom_filter_text.zip I would have recognized that this is for XOOPS 1.3.x, and that the custom_filter_text.zip is maybe not suitable for XOOPS 2.0.x.

But as I see..... I'm too late

The checker modul is (at the moment) a really simple module with which you can check the file/directory integrity.
Sometimes it is possible, that there is something wrong with uploaded files (Corrupted files and/or missing files).

It is also possible to set the PHP Debug mode within XOOPS very easy, especially when someone has a 'blank page' problem.
This is what I did on Kasch site.

This module should also be enhanced to check some other things
on a users XOOPS site (one would be checking the directory/file permissions), but as everybody knows, time.....

You can download the checker module from here

and the necessary checker.xml (for XOOPS 2.0.6) files from
here

Please read the instructions on the download site.

Also, as I have seen with Kasch problem, there could be a problem with checking the files if they have been uploaded in ASCII mode.

I thought it would not make any problems if the files were uploaded with ASCII, because when I read the files (for CRC calculation) I strip the linefeeds.
I will take a further look on that.

You changed the templates_c permissions, but
you still get the Permission denied errors!?

Hi Kasch,

that is really strange.

Which XOOPS version (2.0.6) did you install, and which Checker XML file (also for 2.0.6) did you upload.

The only file which should show a wrong CRC is the mainfile.php.

What kind of FTP program do you use?
Maybe the wrong CRC is from a text upload to your site.

Nevertheless, I did turn PHP debug on with checker.php.
Now we can see some error output on your site.

It seems to be, that your template_c directory is not writable.

A wrong CRC for mainfile.php is ok.
And the index.html doesn't matter.
Also the missing files in uploads doesn't lead to a blank page .

Turn on PHP debug:

..../modules/checker/checkit.php?debug=1&check=no

You should see then warning and error messages, which could give us more information.

Not only the theme file could be corrupted, but also any other file on your website.
(Also there could be something wrong with the database, as slate might have it yesterday.)

I would recommend to download my checker module.
Follow the instructions on the download page.
(It's just download, unpack, upload to the right directory)
The checkit.php script checks the directory structure and the files for correct CRC. On a fresh install only the mainfile.php should have a wrong CRC.

You need the Checker Module and the Checker XML Files for XOOPS 2.0.6

Sorry but I have no more idea at the moment.
