After over three months of development (which went a little slow due to time restrictions) I have finally released DigiComplex as open to the public.

Here is a little overview before you choose to see it(which is the context from my description tag):
DigiComplex is a computer oriented informational recourse covering topics including site development, the web, hardware, how-to, software, computer optimization and upgrading/building. DigiComplex Web Services include hosting, site management and more.

I would really appreciate any suggestions, user registerations, and comments regarding my site.

Thanks - visit DigiComplex now!

I'm not sure what went wrong at all. I checked back again and I realized I was missing a file, and I'm not sure how it was lost (or was it included before?). My guess that this file was.

I was looking over the error message again, and I downloaded the full version latest stable (which is 2.05) i think.

I found out that I was missing mysqldatabase.php which caused the error. I uploaded it from the latest full version, and it fixed it.

I then checked back on the two patches that I downloaded and realized they were never included. I don't think I deleted this file by accident.

I would really like to thank CBlue in assisting me through this. Thanks.

www.digicomplex.com (comments / suggestions appreciated). its still being worked on, and not really open yet.

Okay, thanks. I'll see if I can find the original version, since I don't think there are any direct links on the site. Of course I have't checked the module download section so I could be very wrong.

I don't know how, though, how this error could have occured. I did nothing other then overwrite the old files with the new ones on the patches...

I copied the patches again (both sets of them), and it didn't fix any problems.

I couldn't find the database with the errors in it - of course I could have missed something.

Couldn't I just click all for optimizing (the individual tables / sections of the database)? I mean if even the ones that worked fine were optimized into wouldn't damage anything right?

Thanks for your help so far.

I updgraded from xoops-2.0.4-to-2.0.5.patch then to xoops-2.0.5-to-2.0.5.1.patch right after one another. However once I finished I got this error:

www.digicomplex.com

I'm not sure what went wrong, however the site needs to be back up asap. thanks.

Sorry for bringing this up again; however I would like to know what I can do to change the cookie settings so users stay logged in until they log out.

They find it annoying to keep logging in everytime they visit the web site; I understand this was in place for security precautions.

Thank you!

I'm backing up my MySQL database through CPanel, gives me the option to backup the database, by clicking on its name.

The DB's name is "xoopsdb" and my backups are downloaded as "xoopsdb.gz" - so i assume its downloading the entire db - but how to restore it? what do i need to do?

I just want to get this all correct - and so I know what I'm doing before a major problem occurs. I usually back up my database every other day, and I want to know as long as I back it up, and have those - can I fully restore the database and its contents?

Like how would I go about using XOOPS and all the modules if I the DB becomes corrupt?

Would I need to install all XOOPS over again, and all the modules exactly, then upload the database overwriting some files?

Thank you.
