Here's my site:http://www.blacklogs.com

If you check it in foxfire you'll side block right. In IE no side block right.

This happens no matter what theme I use. However, it didn't happen before under the same version of xoops.

I meant the side block right.

Did you check it out in FireFox? In IE the side block right column doesn't appear.

Never had this problem before in my other installations of Xoops.

Also, the center-center column is not as flexable as the center left or center right. It can't be sized and it pushes the other blocks down no matter what rank I give it.

Left block not showing up in IE 6.

It shows up in FireFox, ok.

I'm using XOOPS 2.0 Would an upgrade correct this?

After restoring XOOPS from backup I'm getting the site but links and stuff are out of synch. Also, I'm getting this error message:

"XOOPS path check: Script is not inside XOOPS_ROOT_PATH and cannot run."

checked main file and the path seems to be ok.

Hey, it worked beautifully -- everything restored ...

except that when I try to log in or go to any of the links I get a blank page with this:

"XOOPS path check: Script is not inside XOOPS_ROOT_PATH and cannot run."

I need an alpha directory that displays entries similar to the way the xf guestbook does.

That's to say, I want each of the entries to fall in alpha order.

Anything like that?

First thing - back up your database (and site) as it is now, before you go playing around with it any more!!

*If* you didn't overwrite your XOOPS database tables then you should be able to get your site back. I suggest cleaning out your directory and uploading a clean install of XOOPS including the modules that you need. Then upload your database and you should be ok.

But really, BACKUP YOUR SITE FIRST. That way if you make things worse, at least you can go back to the starting point and try again.

This sounds easiest.

Ok, how do I back up my database?

Then how do I upload it?

I've got cpanel.

I uploaded PostNuke files into my XOOPS directory. I mixed up html folders. I wanted to upgrade xoop but forgot I had put the full installation PostNuke Html folder on the desktop.

Then thinking I could correct it, I installed the XOOPS html folder upgrade. This didn't work so I downloaded the latest XOOPS and installed it -- not all the way, though, so my XOOPS database files should be ok, right?

I quit the installation just before the database thing.

Also, I never backed up my site.

Question: Can I get my site back?

Thanks, it worked out fine.

Here's another question:

I keep getting this error message when I try to load the avatar sql file:

SQL query:

INSERT INTO `xoops_avatar`
VALUES ( 001, 'www.xoops.net.br-001.jpg', 'Avatar-001', 'image/jpeg', 1000000000, 1, 1, 'S' )

***********************************

On my new site, the sql loads fine (from phpadmin) on the older XOOPS site, I keep getting the error message.

#OOPS#o,

I've just installed the Zaja_Color theme and
would like it to cover 100% of the page instead of the default
width.

How do I change this?
