I just installed a clean version of XOOPS 2.0.13.1 from my webhost that offers Fantastico with XOOPS included. Now I want to upgrade to the 2.0.13.2 version.

So, I downloaded the 2.0.13.2 patch and unzipped it on my local machine. From this point I am a little confused as to what my next step is....

I understand I need to upload "extras" and "html" folder to my server.

Is there any special place on the server I need to upload these two folders? I assume they should be uploaded to the root where all of the other XOOPS files/folders are located. OR... should the "extras" folder / "html" folder be uploaded inside another existing folder that came with the original install?

Thanks for any help

Thanks you very much McDonald. You have saved me about 4 trillion hours of work....I was getting ready to try some other software. No need to do this and will forge ahead with XOOPS.

I was hoping some one could tell me if it's possible to make "mylinks" module show up on the index page. In other words, I want all of my links to be centered in the main section of the index page.

This is important as my site will be a compilation of all the website in my local community. When a customer come to the site I want them to see the Categories/subcategories and not have to click to get to the links.

Thanks for any help in this matter.

I have the same exact problem as jburnham...

As Beavis wondered "Is there a change in the url from view -> login ->admin?"

The answer is NO.

Have XOOPS 2.0.13.1 installed.
Using Firefox, Netscape and IE when having the problem. Problem occures on 3 different computers that I know...my only 3 computers I use.

Anyone figure this out??????

Thanks for any help!
