Can you tell me how to change a name of a module in the main menu. i tryed changing a couple of 'define' statements in '/modules/modulename/languages/english/main.php' and '/modules/modulename/languages/english/modinfo.php'
but nothing changed.. what other file should I look?

I've installed spaw and it works fine in the admin->news-->post/edit news
but it shows only in the 'extended text'... it doesn't show in the 'intro text'.
Also, and this is very important, I would like to make it work for a regular 'submit news' in the main menu. what file do I edit, I try placing the 2 lines ($spaw_root = XOOPS_ROOT_PATH . '/modules/spaw/';
include_once $spaw_root . 'spaw_control.class.php';)
at top of the file submit.php in /modules/news but it didnt work.
Also how do I change the spawn to fit the width of my site, I have only 600 maximum to fit any news.

the books.zip I downloaded doesn't have main.php or modeinfo.php

there is a way to do it, but it will be a permanet and will show in all pages.
the way I did it was editing the theme.html page and placing the block after the last code for central code
(<{/if}>
<{$xoops_contents}>)
what ever you placed after this code will show in all pages because is coded into the theme.html.

The only thing that worked was uninstalling and reinstalling it.
it works now so far, cross my gingers.
only thing I noticed it's that after login as the owner of the album and clicking on any picture and then on 'Photo properties' I get this error:
Error: Error 127 getting EXIF data
any clue what that means??

I'll try the 'update' recommendation from cblue b4 uninstalling it.
I also found it rather simple to rebuild a broken album by starting over and copying the directories back and then doing the Module Admin functions to rebuild the db
