update xoops and some modules

Hi!

1. How do I update my xoops? And wich version shall I update to? I have 2.013, I installed tru cpanel and I can update to 2.013.1 with cpanel, but onley if

"Click on Upgrade only if
- no files, languages, themes have been modified
- you haven't added mods to this installation of Xoops"

And I have done that, so how do I upgrade manually, Without destroying all my settings and removing any modules?

2. How do I upgrade the modules, for instance xfguestbook, shall I delete the folder on my server, upload the new version and click update this module in xoops? Or do you do it some other way?

Please help me.

How to make the guestbook get spam protection? I have seen it, but I have updated to the latest version but and they talk about it on the homesite (in french) I do not understan french. please help me, I get like 15-30 spam messages a day, really enoying.

Another guestbook with spam-protection will also do, and a way the transfer the messages would be nice.

Hi

zencart for zoops is great, but lacks a few things.

1. you can not view your shopping cart and proccead to checking out, Maybee a configuration, but I cannot get it to work.

2. when you become a customer I wont to have option to choose if you are a customer that I have taken a portrait of and then write down the special customer number i have given them. All the other customers that are going to buy other pictures or a camera or somthing will be able to chose that they are not that kind of customer.

This would be higley appriciated.

Hi!

I am a photographer and I would like to have a file manager module that I could set permissions for each files, and not for groups. Onley I shall be able to upload files and set the permissions. It would also be great if you could have the module select a random login and password. Have a standard text like: You can now log in to my website and download your files to see if you like to buy my pictures, bla bla bla and so on... and then just write an email adress and send it to the customer.

Every customer will have the same name and login to my site, but each of them can onley download there own folder, ofcourse every customer will se each others folder, but they are not allowd to open or download them, onley there own.

A module like this would be higley appriciated.

Hi!

I want to have two dynamic sublinks, but I do not want them to show at the same time. And that is the problem

for instance

A
test a (dynamic sublink)

B
test b (dynamic sublink)

This is how it looks when I press A, but I want it to look like this.

A
test a (dynamic sublink)

B
And now this dynamic sublink are gone, and will onley be shown if you press B, and then ofcourse the A´s dynamic sublink will not be shown.

How do I make this happen, please help me.

I do not recive any message what is wrong?

they should end up in my master accounts inbox, is that right?

I can send message betwean users, but not from a anonumys user to a the master account, how do I solve this?

How to upgrade from XOOPS 2.013 to latest stable version?
I have installed with cpanel, but they are so slow to provide the upgrade patch so I want to do it manually, but I do not know how. I do not want to lose anything.

multimenu and myalbum

multimenu and myalbum are not showing in the block section.
multimenu 1 and 2 are vissible, but when I activate any other they are not shown. I can not get myalbum to show, not any of there options. It is in the adminpart, not on the actuel site.

the problem is that multimenue 1 an 2 do not exists in that area, only multimenue. That would be the logical solution, but since you can not choose the other multimenue I do not now what to do.

I do not want to add links in the main menue.

Is their a bug in multimenue 1.7?

Any suggestions?
