can't you just tell XOOPS (in general settings or somewhere like that) that you want to use the news/reviews/polls etc etc as the start page?..

Or just tell the Blocks settings that you want "latest News" or whatever in the middle/centre block weight 1???

This is what Iwas looking for aswell, I have tried many different ways but my users are finding it too hard.

I also had a yourContent mini site script that I got from here but that was way too hard for them aswell so, I opted for the best choice I could think of:

I create the site for them in raw html and place it in a folder of there own under my domain, then just place a link from a custom block to the site in mention.

Is a little easier than any other option I have found so fare.

Don't worry all, I have sorted it!.. it was because the Extended Profile wasn't ticked in the Annonymous Groups selection!.. I gave Annonymous Users Module Access Rights to this and now it's all A-OK.

users can't register

Hi all,

When someone new tries and register on my site it says

"Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area."

then kicks them over to the User Login page?

any help please?

I'm using 2.2.3a finale and my site isn't turned off!

It's already there dude.. it should show up next to your logo at the top of the site.

As for the only showing up when you log in/out??? The only thing I can think of is the settings in the Group section? maybe you can modify it so that all can see?
