I explained my error in the first post in this thread. Essentially:
JPG does not work -(uppercase extension)
jpg works - (lowercase extension)
This is bad!

But I have no clue how I would even start to do this.
I'd basicly need step by step instructions as I am not a programmer. Although, I do feel fairly comfortable getting around XOOPS php code now.

I encountered a similar issue. See if this helps:

In the edituser.php file find this line:
$edituser->setVar('bio', xoops_substr($bio, 0, 255));
Change that 255 to a larger number. I'm pretty sure that should fix your problem.

Does anyone know how I can set up an automatic script that will give users a subdomain of their choice that will point directly to their profiles??
I see that hotscripts has some scripts like this available, but I wouldn't know how to impliment them into the XOOPS database.
