Upgrade -> 2.0.9.2 - Call to undefined func...!

I am trying to upgrade step-by-step to 2.2. But when upgrading from 2.0.7 -> 2.0.9.2 I get a blank page. When turning php-bugging on I get this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: smarty_core_write_compiled_resource() in /home/dreng/public_html/gimle/class/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1423

Could anyone plz help??

P.S. I love XOOPS but upgrading seems almost impossible. I have tried to upgrade eight times and only succeded once... Lack of usability there: even though I am a bit stupid when using a php-portal, I believe I am not the only one.

OK, thanks! I should have thought of that... Now I can view the site and log in as an admin. But when trying to go to the admin section (to make the site public for reg users again) I get the message that its the first time I use the Admin section!

Then, when trying to continue to Admin:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: phpdefine() in /home/dreng/public_html/gimle/modules/iMenu/language/english/modinfo.php on line 1"

I am most greaatful for your help...

Thanks mOnty! Some nice themes there, but most XOOPS themes have a pretty "square" design. I am looking for something with a little more soft feeling. I really like the xFixed theme athttp://www.bizzware.ca even though this project needs to be a little more colorful.

Hi!

I am involved in a project building a gamers community/CMS for young people (age 14 - 25, maybe up to 30). It will eventually be an international, multi language site. A beta version should be finished within a couple of weeks so I am in a bit of hurry...

It does not need an extreme hi tech-feeling - we are focusing on usability and clearabilty. The site content combines knowledge based gaming and fun stuff with philosophy and spirituality. Sounds odd? It is..

Please help me out with suggestions for suitable themes. It should function well with any end user platform. We will of course and our own touch to it so a high flexability would be great, but the less changes we need to make, the better.

Most greatful for your help!

Cheers,

/Karl

Reverse date order in Tiny Event

I would like to change the order of events in the Tiny event module. By default the module lists the oldest event first and the newest last - I wold like it to show the newest event first.

Anyone knows what lines/what file and how I should edit it? I am no good at php... I hav tried to find the parameter but the closest I get is a "date" parameter, that I believe just tells the module to sortby date (but not in which order to sort them).
