There is a hack for a wide system Wysiwyg: take a look in here -https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=31122&forum=15&post_id=149239#forumpost149239
just note that there are some fields here and there with no HTML tags alowd and you'll see the HTML as code.

there's probably a simple way to fix it, I still did't found it (when you edit it again you see HTML well, so it means code enter the database, but not presented as should.... hope answere is on it's way)

Hi Solo .... All

You probably is the right address for my question: Embedding koivi editor in the system causes some fields to show the html tags in site pages (I.E. fields which are not HTML enable)
I looked at those fields code, but missed the point of how to make them HTML enable.
what do I need to do ? ... generaly in the system, not just in MyEdito ...

When Implementing the full hack to XOOPS it causes a few fields in modules to show the HTML codes, how can I enable those fields to use HTML codes (I looked @ the code but didn't knew what to change in something like this:

// DESCRIPTION
    $description_text = new XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea(_CO_SCLIENT_DESCRIPTION, 'description', '', 15, 60);
    $description_text->setDescription(_CO_SCLIENT_DESCRIPTION_DSC);
    $form->addElement($description_text, false);


or is there something like "preg_replace" or whatever ?

I wonder how this question wasn't asked due to the fact that it happands in a lot of module if you implement this hack.

But I got to say samuels that I take my words back, it is a really good wysiwyg editor, and as I see from the demo, it got even better then the version I'm using.
where is the link to this version ?
Is it out already (the new version) ?
Are you still developing the editor ?

Since I saw you follow the "Membo ..... Marketing thing" too, I just thought of something that I didn't saw someone mentioning: - one of the thing XOOPS need in the Front page for Marketing is "Sucsess stories" ... I found myself more then a few times, when examining something new - going to read some of ppls saying about the plus and minus of the specific app ...
If you want, post a suggestion out there there ......... I stopped folowing the thread due to a lot of work that suddenly fell on me (for the good and bad of it )

It does work for Hebrew !!!
The right to left is a very problematic thing: I had to go over all core files to adjust them to Hebrew, each table/paragraph/div/span and so on.. has to be treated, plus a lot of hacks and language changes - it took ages + the fact that every upgrade takes ages to implement even with changes log.

But !!!!
Xoops worth the work: "There's something about XOOPS ... makes you want to work with it more"

Feature request:
1. logo upload box, with the "listing request" or with the "listing approoval" form (kind of hard to understand if it was implemented for the cupons or also for general listing - from dev.xoops.

2. Text field in top of (sub?) category, for the ability to personalize some directories with a description or alike ...

Great to see that you took bilberb's good start into a fresh future .... can't wait for the upcomming beta

Is there something new (0.9) ?
The "alphabetic listing" was solved at last with the help of wtravel , so if you didn't implemented it yet, I will in 0.09 ... waiting ofr the release.

Features requests:

1. If GD will be invoulved, and option in Admin side to attach small thumb in the "list view" and to define it's width + hight.

2. A few (or definable) more fields in profile.

3. To be able to controll HTML ability in the "Description" field

4. Groups features (which group can see/post profiles)

5. Blocks features (or simply in additional fields, but then less versitile) : would be used for things like
"Important dates" == birthdays and so ...
