The purpose is to add a link (or a picture) directly in my theme. So people can select the theme they want to see on the fly, without having to use the theme block...

It's quite obvious that if you don't give people access to see your site, google won't record it. 
Just give plain access to your site.
As for the random link, you can use spotlight.
