I think I know you're talking about but just wanting to make sure.

- You added some custom code to the xoopsroot/index.php ?
- and at first it didnt work so you removed the coded again and now you get blank page ?

Try to turn on error messages in admin/settings and see if this index.php page echoes out some errors.

yes this is true. Thought this module had the feature to allow more than one vote per user, but maybe I am thinking about the old version.

Maybe someone has made a hack to do this. I will keep an eye out for something you can use

This is what I would do, or you can have your visitors come to your site through www.yoursite.com/hutings/

but if you choose to move files to /public_html/ you need also to edit your mainfile.php to change the paths to the new location etc.

This aswer from Ghia is opossit direction from your action but the idea is the same, only you move from subdomain to root

Hope I havent thrown you totally off, and confused you more than good is.

Only now I am confused a little so better ask before jumping to any other conclusions.

You have the content of HTDOCS (xoops root) placed inside a custom folder called Hustings ?

in that case your mainfile.php is found like this "http://www.yoursite.com/public_html/hustings/mainfile.php ??

if you want users to go directly to your XOOPS installation when entering ../public_html/, then the installation needs to be in /public_html/

Now users go to your XOOPS when entering /public_html/huskins/

Did I understand it right ?

Ah yes, ghia + mamba your right :-s So sorry to cause extra confusion Hakim, the xoops_version.php is not part of the installation files but used in modules.

What I meant was to check if the uploaded folder to /hustings was ok. So that mainfile.php is in the root. I don't know how I got xoops_version involved in this.

hello again webweaver :) I think you already have this option with poll v1. Just in your poll option choose yes to 'Allow multiple selection?'

This of course does not secure "fake" voting :-s
