gotcha - i really appreciate it.

i downloaded this to merely handle my user database and offer them a couple of mods, but i think this thing is AWESOME.

i have a script i need some minor work done to i can pay if you know where i might hire someone for some small work (it'd be quite easy, i know...)

let me know if you or someone would like to look at it and discuss a small fee...?

ok, which field do i set to "1" - i see an actkey field that ends up holding the random string from the Webmaster's link. is that not necessary?

right, on the passwords. i ran them all through md5.

need to add a simple CREATE TABLE script to avatar.php

i have a CREATE TABLE $table line that i've been using in my old script that i just migrated everyone from to XOOPS - i need to put this somewhere in avatar.php where it'll run whenever someone uploads a new avatar - i haven't been successful in placing in the right place yet. can someone help?


$sql3 = "CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS ".$avatar_id."
( ip VARCHAR(255), time VARCHAR(255)) TYPE = MYISAM; ";
mysql_query($sql3);

isn't there a way I CAN ACTIVATE them without having to send them all an email? my partner sends them too many "Newsletters" already, i don't want to keep sending them stuff...

ok, i ran UPDATE SET scripts all night last night to get my users from one db to xoops_users - can someone tell me how i might Activate all of these people - i see the particular fieldset, but don't know what is generated to approve them...

Undefined class name 'xoopslocal' in /homepages/7/d153329893/htdocs/xoops/modules/wordpress/include/xoops-wp.php on line 113

Line 113 is actually: "$text = XoopsLocal::convert_encoding($text, $to_charset, $from_charset);"

with several instances of XoopsLocal following... any help?

you know, as long as i've been playing with php, one of my favorite things about it was its ease of installation. this is hardly worth the time, i'm beginning to think.
