Is there any option/module to create SEF URLs in Xoops? For example, to view a user's page instead ofhttp://www.mysite.com/userinfo.php?uid=10 , I would definehttp://www.mysite.com/john

The Admin>Deleted function is in 3.05 too. Looks like the same ones I got from the SQL export so maybe that's all of them.
Thanks!

Or maybe not, that got me to some posts that were not on the site but maybe not necessarily all of them... I'll dig into it some more.

I think I actually figured it out. Looks like every post remains in the database, just can't get to it through the site.
in phpMyAdmin I first exported the bb_posts_text. Searched and found the text I was looking for even though it had been deleted online. (Also notice that I don't see any gaps in the post ID #s.) To find the user who made the post I exported the bb_posts table and correlated the post_ID from the _text table to the one in the _posts table.

I think I just confused myself describing that...if anyone else needs to do it let me know and I'll try a better explanation.

Is there a way to retrieve posts users or admins have delete in CBB? (I thought I had been able to find them in the database via phpMyAdmin in the past but can't seem to now so maybe I'm mistaken.)

After building several sites with XOOPS I started experimenting with Drupal and Joomla. I have to agree with tzvook - those others are prettier but I keep coming back to XOOPS for usability and support. I can't wait for 3.0!

Here are some key advantages of those:
Drupal - core installation, multi-site option, easy upload of new logo and favico
Joomla! - module installation - it doesn't get easier than Joomla's installation options, even directly from a web link

Thanks and good luck! Wish I knew PHP better so I could actually help.

Is there any way to retain aspect ratio for video playback? Some of mine are 4:3 and some 16:9.

I'm having issues with resizing too - if the admin settings are not set to the exact size of the submitted video, the videos seem to get stretched horizontally but not vertically. If the admin setting is smaller than the original video the video is cropped.

Maybe it has something to do with the Yes/No options for ADMINSUBMITDSC or GDMODEDSC - what are those?

I have this working great on one site.
Just installed it on a new site and every time I try to upload a movie from the user side or point to a movie on the server from the admin side I get an:

Error DSC

Anybody know what this means?

(File is 2.75mb, max upload in x_movie and php.ini is 8M, XOOPS 2.0.18, x_movie 2.65)

----------------------------
Ok, trial by error - apparently a Description is required and Error DSC means there is an error (i.e. nothing) in the Description field.
