Why not just create a block with the HTML to show the logos and links. Then place the block on every page.

In my forum there are two views, one is threaded the other Flat. You can change from one to the other with a click, but I have no idea how to set one up as a default.

I also found an SQL error

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM xoops_users u, xoops_user_profile p WHERE u.uid = p.profileid AND level > '0'
Error number: 1146
Error message: Table 'right_xoop1.xoops_user_profile' doesn't exist
( 0.000303)

Now all my users have mysteriously disappeared. Thankfully there were only 30 odd of them.

Thanks for the pointers. I have managed to get into the site and I am getting the following error message:

Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: theme in file kernel/object.php line 279
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: theme in file kernel/object.php line 280
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: theme in file kernel/object.php line 375

Now if I can just work out what that means :).

I disabled xlhd for now. but it has not, as yet solved the problem.

Thanks Chaps

My site has gone. It was working a couple of hours ago and now its a white page.

It has been running without problem for a couple of weeks and today I have not done anything more than add a topic or two to the forum. How can an error occur out of nowhere?

Where do I start looking?

I have checked the FAQs on white pages and I failed to run the SQL query properly. I checked the error line in the php file mentioned, it didn't need to be changed.

How do I understand where the problem came from?

I am new to Xoops, and I have been amazed at how much I can do with it (My technical skills are zero). My site is not quite live, but I have got a whole load of modules up and running with all kinds of facilities I didn't think possible a couple of months ago.

So first of all thanks.

Of course, we can never be satisfied, so I started thinking.

Wouldn't it be nice if users could set up mailing groups, (like yahoo groups).

Something else that would be useful would be the ability to place a block weith the top referrers on the home page. (A good icentive for people to link.

Finally, I am planning another site which will be in the style of a weekly magazine. A module that made this easy would be super.

I have searched the modules and not found any of these. I would love to be proven wrong though. Any ideas?

I am looking for the same thing. If I could allow users to set up mail groups that would be the icing on the cake.
