I would love to have a forum with pictures. I know it's not impossible, but does anyone know how he does this?

Here is the example:

Here's another example right here on the XOOPS site!! I love this! If you know, please let me know how to do this!

Actually, I figured out that the theme was set to an older theme that didn't support the menu. When I switched the default Admin theme to the XOOPS default theme, the menu showed up. There are soooo many parts to this!!! I appreciate your help --

Thank you, everyone, for looking at this. I solved the problem by uninstalling the Extended Profiles module, deleting tables from the DB and starting over. This time, the Preferences and Modules menus had Extended Profile options.

I know I should be using 2.0.1 but I really need the extended fields and I don't know if I'll be able to upgrade later.

Am I missing a step, Mithrandir? Where am I supposed to add the fields?

I'm using XOOPS 2.1, and I have Extended Profiles / User Management module installed.

When I go to Tools/templates/extended profiles, I can [Edit] [Delete] [Download] these files:

profile_userinfo.html
profile_admin_fieldlist.html
profile_admin_categorylist.html

Clicking on edit/preview gives me a blank screen. I feel like I'm missing a step. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Please point me in a direction!! I can't seem to find add extended fields in the Admin user interface anywhere. I have the newest version of XOOPS.

I did not make any mods to admin.php save some debugging things but I replaced it with a new copy.

Php debug is on and I am getting no errors.

** Mystery Solved ***

I am such a lame brain. The XOOPS interface changed and I didn't see the menu. I was looking for the old interface. Thanks for your ideas!

Hi!

Thanks in advance for reading this.

When I go to admin.php, I get the page header and footer and that's it. I have .htaccess set up to show errors, but it doesn't show any. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to the next step?

I have it narrowed down to one of these things not working properly in admin.php:

$block_handler =& xoops_gethandler('block');
$block_arr =& $block_handler->getAdminBlocks($xoopsUser->getGroups());
$block_handler->assignBlocks($block_arr);
