Any help ius very much appreciated...thanks

i'm currrently using agenda-x and it's a cool module. My problem is that the date on the calendar won't display correctly (one day behind) even though i already set the correct timezone - +8 i'm from the philippines.

actually i want to display two things on my start-up page

first: a welcome section that would display an HTML welcome message
second: below it the current posted articles.

i was wondering how to this cos in the preferences under system admin( if a remember it right), it can only specify a particular startup page (like news) but not both.

I'm currently running XOOPS 2.0.9.2. I'm using News 1.1 and about to install AMS 2.41 but i got te error "Module file for AMS not found". I've uploaded all the unzip files and folders of AMS 2.41 to the AMS folder under MODULES folder.
