How do I change admin password?

I have just installed XOOPS using fantastico, but this only allows for a 6 digit password how can I change the password, I want it to be longer so that it is more secure.

I would check your username and password are correct, or try Filezilla .

You should have a ftp address with your site.

it will be something like: ftp.websitewelcome.com and you will need your user name and password, and of course an ftp program, Filezilla is good and freehttp://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

Then all you do is unzip your tutorial mod onto your desktop, use your ftp program to navigate to public_html/Xoops/Modules then drag your tutorials folder into your modules folder and let it upload.

It is alot easier to upload the whole zip file to your theme folder then unzip the contents of the zip folder there.

Ok to put scrolls in to your post you put code tags in.

(code) write your stuff here (/code)

replace the curved brackets( ) with square brackets [ ] for it to work.
