Re: New TeamSpeak Module

Yeah, well I wish my ISP would get off their ass and give me a decent connection speed for what I pay. Ugh... they have a niche on the market, and no competition. So in the end, I get the shaft.

Re: New TeamSpeak Module

Ok, I figured out what is causing the white screen. I have issued a fix for this module. You can download it at tswn.com. Also, Admins of Xoops, please update the repository here with the latest versions. You can find them at tswn.com as well. The downloads should be shown as version 4.1.4 for XOOPS 2.0.x, and 4.1.4a for XOOPS 2.2.x. I hope that this fixes some of the issues that you all have been having with this module. Also, on the white screen, if you enable the PHP debug in your admin prefs, it will show you what the error is. Just FYI.

Re: New TeamSpeak Module

When you setup your teamspeak server(not the module for xoops), did you edit the section where it asks you where to point the webpost to?

Re: Don't know how to use DHTML editor

Is it your browser? Sometimes browsers mess up and dont let the JS work properly. You might try that first.

Re: Change the log on and log off headers...

Yep, just upload that via your template manager. It will install the templates automatically.

Re: Change the log on and log off headers...

You probably downloaded the template files for that also right? If so, make sure you edit the system_redirect.html that is accessable via your template manager.

Change the color there.

Re: Highly Customized User Account

Ok, for those of you who wondered how I modified the userinfo page like this, you are in luck. I created a few short images that try to give you examples of what I modified and why. Here they are. If you have ANY question, please feel free to ask.

Re: Highly Customized User Account

Well here is yet another update on the user account changes that I have made on the site. Its been a while since I posted the original version of the changes. Here is the latest version. MANY MANY changes have been made to the user account section. I went so far as to change the theme.html file that the user account page uses so that I could use the left hand space where the left menu is, in order to allow the page to be viewed the way its supposed to be viewed. That being said, the site uses only one theme, but it has two theme.html files. One specifically for the user account, and one for the site itself. I could try and explain how everything works to you guys, but I think I would probably cause my submission form to time out. LOL!! There are 3 primary files that I change. The kernel/user.php file, the userinfo.php file, and the system_userinfo.html template. The one main file that actually sticks the info into the db resides on another server. One that has nothing to do with XOOPS itself. I just make a connection to my db server from it, it checks to see if some of the parameters match some strict requirements that I have instilled and it inserts the info if everything is met.

One of the cool things that you will notice is the ivory colored popup menu in the middle of the screenshot. This popup, gives you information on either how many points you have left to aquire before you receive a particular award, or how much time you need for an award, or how many kills you need for an award. All in percentages. Some of it is still kinda buggy, but the core framework for it is developed. Just mouse-over any of the awards images to give you a tooltip/popup. Some of them are fully operational, and some of them are not. I am working on them as we speak, so thats why they aren't done. Anyway, this is all I have right now. If you want to check it out in action, just visit www.bf2online.com and click on my profile, or click on this link here.
