Nice try...

One suggest though is to remove the clock

Too much area from the front page for a not useful info...there are so many blocks you can add

The problem solved…without an intervention…

Seems that was an ISP server play with our nerves…
Something like a present to our first day on the air

Emails now flying…

Are you using pure English version…or a translated one?

Because by the launching of version 2.2.x the registration process held by a specific module called “profiles” and if you haven’t add a translation to that…system cannot find the email templates and registration fails.

I’m wondering if this depends on the php version you have on the server and not in XOOPS version.

Is that true?
or I’m in wrong direction?

One thing that I noticed is that always working for a non-free-webmail accounts…like the one I have from the National telecommunication comp. If I try a couple of free-webmails….although the success registration message is showing up, activation email never comes.

Ok…solved!

What was the solution?

In Extended Profiles administration-tab fields…exists a field called “attachsig - Always attach my signature”…in registered users was enabled by default. In webmasters was disabled and although you think that you can control it from the tick box of cbb is not true.

So in order to use the signatures you have to set this bit true and then play…

Credits…to a post I read time ago (I don’t remember where…probably in CBB home) that was explaining something similar.

Update...
As far as I have tested…in registered users everything is working fine.
In webmasters nothing is displayed…
Sounds strange???

PS I’m afraid I don’t have access to the server logs…

I’m having the same problem.
I’ve installed cbb2.3 in xoops2.2.3 site…and although i have set my signature and tick to the appropriate box in order to include it into the post...nothing happens

Is any trick to that...or generally no-one can add his signature?

wf-downloads and error in block settings

I’m using XOOPS 2.2.2 and I decided to install the wf-downloads module.
I’ve downloaded the 2.05a version and the 2.05b fixpack.

After a successful installation whenever I clicked on the “blocks settings” option of the wf-downloads admin menu … the following message is displayed:

Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getbymodule() in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\modules\wfdownloads\admin\myblocksadmin.php on line 28

Do you get the same error when you use this? or something that I did wrong?

I’m using wf-links 1.03 with XOOPS 2.2.2.

Everything is working fine…but
Does anyone know how can I remove the Internet Content Rating (ICRA) option from this module?

Is there any option in the admin menu that I haven’t noticed?
