Thanks hyperpod.......is there an easy way to do this or are there code snippets that are available that I could use or maybe I could modify the "Recent Topics" code to do what I want?? I am fairly new to PHP and don't expect anything handed to me on a plater but a point in the right direction would be great.

Cheers,
Marty.

Hi all, is it possible to display the "last 10 posts" as apposed to "10 most recent topics"??

I have a client who specifically needs the "last 10 posts" and i'm thinking it would be arranged similar to news articles on the news module index page.

I was thinking of creating a single page module called "Last 10" or something like that and then have a single block on this page with just the last 10 forum posts aranged like in news.

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance,
Marty.

Could you not simply hide the "Login" block in admin_menu>system_admin>blocks and then add this linkhttp://www.yourdomain.com/user.php to wherever you want to display the link??

I think that is what you are after.

Marty.

Ok, now this has got me stumped.....

I upgraded my test user to the webmaster group and sent a test PM to my test user (now webmaster) and now the test user cannot delete PM's.

It must be a group thing for the webmaster group. All other groups can delete their PM's, but not the webmaster group.

I then changed my test user back to registered (took it off the webmasters group) I could then once again delete PM's.......

Any ideas??

Marty.

Hi irmtfan, yes I am but I don't think this is the problem as I wrote in in a previous post in this thread that I had created a test user and the test user functioned fine.

I might just create a new user and give webmaster permissions, then delete the original webmaster and change the nam of the new webmaster to my original...

It would be nice for my piece of mind to know what had happened though

See how that goes

Why is it that the title in your replies to this thread aren't the full title??

Thanks for your help anyway Beejay, muchly appreciated.

Does anyone else have an idea as to why this may be happening on my site??

Cheers,
Marty.

oops, sorry we must have been replying at the same time.

Ok, as admin - no, that notification page doesn't show but as test user it does.

Marty.

P.S. Thankyou for your help on this :)
