Hi all. I'm getting the following error on my 2.2.x site. Everything seems to be working alright. Anybody have any insights as to what this means. TIA.

Warning [Xoops]: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "db:system_block_mainmenu.html" in file class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1084

hi all. here's a beginners php question. i want to display "magnet" as a link instead of just text. how to do that? i keep screwing it up. tia.

...
while ($row = $xoopsDB->fetchArray($resultMagnet)) {
echo '<b>Name:</b> ' . $row['name'] . ' Hash: ' . $row['hash'] . ' Magnet: ' . $row['magnet'] .
' IP: ' . $row['ip'] . ' Port: ' . $row['port'] . ' Uploaded: ' . $row['uploaded'] .
' Downloaded: ' . $row['downloaded'] . ' Incomplete: ' . $row['incomplete'] . "<br>" . "\n";

i'm using weblinks 1.1 on XOOPS 2.2.x by Kazumi Ono. his website no longer is active. i didn't find him on the members module here or on the dev site.

i can't read this:
http://www.hackers.ir/advisories/festival.txt

so i don't know what specific links module he means. i'm shutting my site off from anonymous users until i feel comfortable with the links module.

hi.

Quote:
"I can't help thinking that this thread is unhelpful, being as it is in full public view on the XOOPS homepage..."

i did not see it. where? do you mean this thread is in full view and don't like talking about exploits or that this issue has already been raised on the home page?

Quote:
Two words...... Protector Module.....

i read a lengthy thread on this and it seemed that the module was a good idea but it was not manditory. XOOPS core was reasonably secure. please tell me where i'm wrong. a link to further reading would be helpful.

Quote:
The information is also listed on the SecurityFocus site.

i clicked on "solution" and it states, "Currently we are not aware of any vendor-supplied patches for these issues. If you feel we are in error or if you are aware of more recent information, please mail us at: mailto:vuldb@securityfocus.com."

therefore i did not see a resolution to the issue we're discussing at security focus. that's why i asked the question.

hi all. i desire to try and hussle up some part time work administrating a couple of sites. i'm pretty comfortable with XOOPS and starting to learn php. i've hacked up a couple of other peoples themes, but i really suck at it. i'm seeking to find a budding theme designer who's looking to show off a bit and make a martial arts theme for my site. in exchange i'll carry a banner ad or give you a block advertising your theme design site and if i can pick up some business making sites for others i'll send the custom theme design work to you.

anybody interested?

tia,
eric c.

i briefly looked over their website but couldn't find licensing info. is cpanel free software?

from the faq:

Click on a database or table name in the left frame, the properties will be displayed. Then on the menu, click "Export", you can dump the structure, the data, or both. This will generate standard SQL statements that can be used to recreate your database/table.
