FaceBook Collecting Personal Data for Selling

Those in the UK may have just seen this BBC documentary informing everyone that FaceBook isn’t really set up as a social networking site, yet to collect data for advertising companies, etc, which is written into the terms and conditions….

Just curious how many of you knew about it and how does it make you feel considering, we are told to keep personal data as confidential?

Sorry should have done instructions also, was meant to be that you change the word blank in all files for something, and then use the template instead of direct PHP.....
Basically you’re making a module, yet like said earlier a block from certain modules can actually do the trick or a custom block put on the front page would be just the same and can have html or PHP, which is then much easier for editing or changing later...

First you need to go to this link then this one................

The Banners is built into XOOPS and you should find this in the admin, your theme needs to have <{$xoops_banner}> for it to show where you want....

As for PHPBB i haven't looked at it for ages and unsure if it uses templates, yet XOOPS does...so if something has been directed to that folder for some unknown reason, you can add that folder if needed, to point to what ever needs directing there....

Check that the modules have images and that you haven't unzipped them and left them in an extra folder, i do that accidentally loads..

CSS has .px and Html i think is just the number...

Plus check in the style.css if there is a measurement set for the class="tb12_m" as it's not filling the full space.....

Set the class of the bars top and bottom at 100%, then you know that is filling the full space you allow it, in the table around it.

Do the changes on a home server, if you are not already doing so, as they will happen much quicker then uploading it....
My blocks to change width also did my head in, so here is what’s in mine...
<td width="160" style="width: 160px;">

The problem comes if the modules have widths for the blocks, thus making the block size also adjusted….
Adding a style as well helps encase of over sizing, as it will adjust some back to the size….
Yet some times on some modules blocks, I’ve had to manually change the width of the block to keep all inline....
