Béla:

You can download ver 0.4 and then overwrite with fix #6. Please take in consideration you have to use both #6 files, xoops_shorturls.txt6 and loadpage.txt6

If you have any problems, let me know.

Tl, must be something else, that URL is perfectly parseable. There are some kinds of URLs which look like the same but when you look at the source code, they don't.

Would you mind sending me the url to your site where that url is? I would like to take a look to give you a more deep reason.

Koreus:

It is because of the space in the template set name (default violet).

If you remove it, it will inmediately work.

Only thing preventing me from using it for now is that non-numerical parameters are not working with the hack.

What kind of non-numerical parameters? would you mind posting an example?

I did, and except for the fact that the urls in FreeContent's Web Digest feature are not converted (Probably due to their complicated nature), Everything seems to be working perfectly.

Yes, kind of. I never before saw urls like those in XOOPS and that's why ShortUrls is not capable of handling them.

As they are two urls in one url, it has to be done carefully to avoid breaking other things, but of course it can be done.

I'll wait the report from others and see if everything is working fine and then move on to add other features.

By the way, after the last changes, I think the name ShortUrls doesn't apply anymore, LOL.

No reports?

I guess that means everything is working fine
Koreus, Mikhail, Aubrey, tl, Martijn, Alexon and JackJ, did you download the last fix?

Zoullou:

I took a look at your site and I see you are not using XOOPS from within a dir.

I guess the cause for your error is that you are combining two different versions of loadpage.php and xoops_shorturls.php

Download latest versions here and let me know how it goes:
http://www.wtmmail.com/XoopsShortUrls/loadpage.txt6
http://www.wtmmail.com/XoopsShortUrls/xoops_shorturls.txt6

Please remember this are alpha versions and may have a lot of errors left.

Zoullou:

The new version is still not capable of handling XOOPS installations inside a dir.

I'll try to add this functionality as soon as possible.

Koreus:
Problems with notifications have been fixed. I guess this block hasn't been updated in a long time as its programming is a little different from others modules/blocks.
Download the following file and replace the current version:
http://www.wtmmail.com/XoopsShortUrls/loadpage.txt6

Aubrey:
Both of your problems have been fixed. This one was simple, I forgot to add a "-" to separate argument #5 from #6

Koreus:
Your problem with notifications is happening at my site too.
This one is really strange. Taking a look at it right now....

Latest fix is here:

For those who would like to test, here is the new (maybe) UNSTABLE ver0.4 for ShortURLs.

I'm still working in it and I don't recomend to use it in a production site.

Test it and do whatever comes to your mind to break it, LOL, and of course, report it here :)

This version STILL does not support running XOOPS from within a dir.
