I got a question I'd like to ask before trying this out.

I'm using 1.74 currently... and there is one thing that annoys the hell out of me but which I'm living with.

The issue I have is that all dynamic links expand simultaneously....... what I'd like to see is the ability to designate a parent in which the sublinks should belong to, and ONLY when that parent is clicked should the sublinks expand... and then shouldn't disappear again until clicking on the parent main link.

Currently all sublinks disappear if it's not a page in the same module.. which is HIGHLY annoying.

Also... I'm using MultiMenu for various blocks.. and in each block, I have a main link and dynamic sublinks.

Now, when I click on the link in one block... not only does all the sublinks appear there, but they also appear in the second block.. and I really don't like that.

If you want to see what I mean precisely, try and go tohttp://renegade.insane-asylum.dk and click on one of the section menu's.... then you will notice that all sublinks, both in that block and the next will appear.

Has this been fixed in 1.8... if not, then please make it work.

This module has amazing potential.. but there definately is some features missing currently that should be added... and that is the designated parent/child setup where sublinks opens and closes depending on the state of the mainlink aka parent.. and not depending on module or other blocks.

It just says:

Notice... the line that says By: just shows '..' instead of displaying the name?

Does anyone know why that is?

How do I make the first link and those below it?

I've recently installed MultiMenu to accomplish some greater functionality.. and I've read through the guides includes, but there is still one thing I can't seem to figure out how to do.

Example:

Here on our dear XOOPS site, once you click on for example 'Download XOOPS', you will then see 3 new sub-links appear, which is:

Now, I'd like to accomplish something similar with MultiMenu.. but I seriously can't figure out how to do it, so I was hoping there was a competent kind soul who could provide me with a small guide.

How do I set up the actual links in the MultiMenu, and what settings should I place in the Blocks configuration when displaying that link?

No no.... I was using tiny content as an example to describe the functionality I was requesting...

See, TinyContent additions that are marked as a 'Sub Menu' will appear selectable in the blocks configuration that defines where you want your block viewed at....

But when you mark a category in news 1.44 a sub menu, it doesn't appear in the blocks configuration.

I'm using news module 1.44, and are seeking one specific feature which I cant seem to make work.

Example:
When I with TinyContent create a content page, and marks it as a sub-menu, it will appear in the blocks configuration as selectable.. meaning that I can make a specific block show up when I view that certain content page.

This is what I'm trying to accomplish with news.

What I want is, that when I view a specific news category, I want top block to appear, when I view another news category, I need another top block to appear.. and I just cant make that work.

In the blocks configuration, all I can select in regards to the news module is 'All Module Pages'.. and that just isn't good enough.. because that will then show one specific banner for all categories.. and thats wrong in my case.

So, my question for you all is.. how do I work around this?

I guess noone knows.... Ohh well.

What do you need confirmed? Just look at the batch script - No malicious code.... try it out yourself... works like a charm.

Though, one thing.. if you need to send it to fx. gmail, you need to modify it a bit, and possibly split up the files since gmail only accepts 10mb files.

So.. Noone knows?

So far, I've only seen this possible with an iframe.. but they don't always come out looking nice.

I've tried to accomplish this in every single possible way.. well.. and then again, probably not...

Im not not sure I understand how to do this, BUT...

How in world is this done?
