Do you have anything in the styleMAC.css and styleNN.css?
If so just leave it and even it's blank inside. Nothing will bother the theme.

That page you can fully customize it if you want to.
There's two ways, edit in admin area or download it, edit, make a tar file and upload it.

style.css
styleMAC.css (No need)
styleNN.css (No need)
All you do it's to use the style.css and the site will be compatible with every browsers on the any operation system.
Check out my site, I made myself a complex theme, it's hard to do it but it work on every browser I have tested. So general and basic theme will be working propertly on any browser unless you have some special css code which only compatible to a specific browser.

I think the way he meant is that when you submit your news you have to put it the text in the first part and thent he second manually.
