Problem solved! you pointed me in the right direction.

For some reason, I had the Java VM disabled in IE. I went in a checked the custom security settings to enable java/active scripting etc... now it's working!

you can tell I haven't been using IE...

I hope this helps someone else too..

Firefox does have many configuration options / extensions etc... I'm glad you solved your problem.

I use Firefox most of the time but I'm concerned about the majority of users still using IE.

It's odd that the button onclick property doesn't seem to work even though the link is accessible.

hmmm. I'm still looking for a solution.

That's odd, I've got the reverse problem. The results button works in Firefox but not in IE6.

I've tried changing the template code (button onclick property) but nothing seems to work.

anyone solved this problem?

I've got the same problem.

I can't view the poll results. When I click 'results' nothing happens (XOOPS 2.0.9.2) The poll is in the top right-hand corner block.

The HTML code looks fine and when I manually enter the results URL in the address bar, IE has no problem displaying it.

I've tried changing the button onclick property but nothing seems to work.

Why won't clicking the results button display the poll results?

BTW, It works in Firefox but not IE (a disturbingly common trend I've been noticing)

anyone else solved this problem?

I have this problem too, sometime the rss feed appears blank.

not sure why, sorry! I usually just give up there and look for a new feed.

Articles for XOOPS table cell widths too wide

Hi, I'm using Articles for XOOPS 0.18 - a brilliant module, clean, simple and effective, loving it but....

I noticed recently, while testing in IE6, the table cell widths on the articles index page are a little odd. The lower article entries (I have a list of categories) have an expanded 'number of reads' cell. i.e the 'number of reads' cells are too big.

It basically looks like a big table with two columns but lower down the page, the right hand column suddenly gets too wide.

Looking at the source code, the code looks the same for the correct and incorrect table rows. strange, if the HTML code is the same, why does it render differently?

Firefox has no problem rendering the page correctly.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks for the info!

I had a problem with theme changes not reflected in the site. I tried the other solutions (clear templates_c folder, set the pref setting to update theme files etc..) but it didn't work.

When I updated the module in Admin>Modules>Update the changes appeared and were beautiful!

I had some trouble getting the top info in WF-downloads to appear centered. The letter list and disk icons were off to the right - now it's peachy,

P.S perhaps someone should update that Theme Update FAQ to include the module update solution.

XOOPS downloads module font

I'd like to create an image similar to the one used in the XOOPS downloads module (it read 'downloads' on the index page, 'web links' in the web links page)

The image is a rounded rectangle, shadowed text etc... you know the one?

Is there place I can download that font, or preferably a photoshop file I can edit to create a similar image?
