image size must be smaller then ZERO?

as far as i can remember from what math teech-ed me lol
you cant make anything smaller then ZERO.

Im trying to attach an image to a post on my NEWBB boards.
But when i try to upload an image it tells me must be smaller then ZERO

i looked in the preferances for the forums
i have WIDTH set for 400
Height set for 600

over these two sizes would create a thumbnail

my image im trying to upload is smaller then either of these measurements.

what gives?

im having a problem with the yogurt installation

im trying to create a TRIBE and i need to give it an image
however when i upload a GIF ( or .gif ) it tells me the MIME TYPE is not allowed

i have WF-DOWNLOADS installed in XOOPS and it allows for
.gif, .jpg, and .jpeg

but i still can not create a tribe in yogurt with that type image.

Also when it fails to upload the picture, it still tells me i have created the tribe
When i goto yogurt profile i see i have TWO tribes but if i click on VIEW i see no tribes

actually i looked at and tried that one however the code it speaks of searching for does not exist in my copy of xoop_version.php

it says to look for this:


$modversion['blocks'][4]['file'] = "news_top.php";

$modversion['blocks'][4]['name'] = _MI_NEWS_BNAME5;

$modversion['blocks'][4]['description'] = "Shows recent articles";

$modversion['blocks'][4]['show_func'] = "b_news_top_show";

$modversion['blocks'][4]['edit_func'] = "b_news_top_edit";

$modversion['blocks'][4]['options'] = "published|10|25|0|0|0|0||1||||||";

$modversion['blocks'][4]['template'] = 'news_block_top.html'; // news_block_recent.html

below the BLOCKS comment

its not there

i looked around for this one a bit but only came across MODULE cloning

how can i clone a block?

Im using NEW BB and have one of the blocks for it showing parts 1 2 and 4 of the message boards
i want to have a second block on my mainpage showing part 3 of the message boards

obviously because differing information is posted to that section so

how can i clone a block?

i cant get my xoopseditor to finalize

meaning the readme file says


1 Upload following folders and files onto your XOOPS root folder, where the mainfile.php is located:

 folder "class" (including a subfolder "xoopseditor" inside)

 checksum.class-xoopseditor.md5

 checksum.class-xoopseditor.php



2 Access http://your-xoops-site-url/checksum.class-xoopseditor.php



3 If there are files missing or invalid, reupload corresponding files



4 Once no missing or invalid file found, remove the following files from your server:

 checksum.class-xoopseditor.md5

 checksum.class-xoopseditor.php

however it seems that ALL the files are showing in the results with a status of INVALID
so i need to reupload them
i have done and checked this 3 times now and still same results

i am using
Frameworks 122
Xoopseditor 121

i did not upload and install CBB because i can not find a download for it
i can however find a downlaod for NEWBB which i do not think is the same thing

help?

its impossble what i am going through with this g*d forsaken hosting company

i cant log into my database for XOOPS and make a backup of it.

They tel me at one point they can log into it but it takes too long for them to create the backup
then a few sentances later a specialist tells me
"Since its taking too long, can you do it from your end?"

wait.... WHAT!??
Didnt you even understand what im talking to you about in the first place?
the first things i asked about was this matter of me not being able to log into it.

I even changed the password for it to make sure im doing it correctly and i still cant get in.

what a hole i am

ok er body i need a fast hand with this one

Here is what i need to do. ( and yes i posted something like this before but circumstances have change ) Here we go

Currently i have a XOOPS instalation located at
rootfolder/xoops_installation_folder
or rather grooveclip.com/groove.

I AM MOVING TO A NEW HOSTING COMPANY
and
I WANT TO REINSTALL MY XOOPS In the root directory. (not a sub directory)

Can i do it this way:
step 1. Download my xoops_installation_folder
step 2. Download a copy of the sql database
step 3. upload the xoops_installation_folder into the new host
step 4. ***what would i need to change in the SQL file for my XOOPS to work again same as it is.

Im sure there is a few lines that currently say something like:
LINK = "root directory/groove/modules/module_name" and so on.

but i wont be in that GROOVE folder anymore
it will be located directly in the ROOT folder which in this case is called /html/

i guess the simplest way of asking the question is:
Is there a way of XOOPS installation migration?
