No, it's not frozen.
I just visited it and it was incremented (now 5 visits).

What you have to know is:
- There is a cookie which is set into the user computer, to prevent multiple counting of the same visitor.
- The code above, prevent the Admin to be count.
- When a visitor have the cookie in his browser, he is not counted anymore until the expiration of the cookie (which can be set up in the admin part of the module).

If you're looking right, you can see that the number of "Total Pages" is incremented each time.

Now you have this:

Total Pages: 26
Total Visits: 6
Total Days: 2
Average Visits per day: 3.00
Average Visits per hour: 0.13
Average Visits per week: 21.00
Average Visits per month: 90.00
Busiest Date: 14-07-2004
Busiest Day Visits: 3
Visitors Today: 3
Visitors this week: 6
Visitors this month: 6
Busiest Week: #29 2004
Busiest Week Visits: 6
Busiest Month: 07/2004
Busiest Month Visits: 6

I hope my English is not too bad because I just waked up.

Kind Regards

Does it have a negative effect when you clear you browser cache?

It's the same thing here, but if you're afraid you can backup the templates_c folder before.

After having uploaded your new theme.html files, did you try to delete all the *^theme.html in the templates_c folder?

Theprof,

Is it your website: Gooberhead.net?
If it's the case, I visited it and cannot see the code which has to be in the footer part of your theme.

May I invite you to see this topic onto my website or to search onto xoops.org (I remember that Mithrandir has said something about updating a theme.html file)?

Kind Regards

Hello Theprof,

You're right, you have to put the script code into your theme.html (as described into xoops_install.txt).

What do you mean when you say:
Quote:
Also, how cna I view my php files correctly?

I just tried to view a php file in the istats directory, trough my cpanel account, and all is fine.

Like you, I don't know why some people have such difficulties with this module. It's like an other modules excepted the part concerning the portion of code which has to be included into the theme.html file and some css classes.

Kind Regards

For me, everything seems to be fine.
Each time I hit the refresh button, it's incremented.

Visitors this month     39     Average Visits per month     1170
Total Days              1     Average Visits per hour     1.63

Stewdio says it right.

I just went to your site, logged in and edited his sources...I can't see the mentioned code by Stewdio in it.
Also I see that you haven't added specifics istats css to your theme.

Hope it help.

Hello Elvir

Of course there is a way, but what do you want exactly?
Do you only want to increment your total of visits or add in istats all your past statistics?

For the second case, I/we need to know which script you were using and what was stored in the tables.
