I e-mailed the person that having the hacks for X-Movie and after a couple of weeks, he/she didn't reply any. I assume he/she didn't understand English. That guy is a Japanese.

Yeah you're right. How come I didn't see it. By the way, I found X-Movie module v1.7 custom 2.3 English and it works well. I saw some hacks in code to allow users to have 3 options of upload methods. Upload locally, URL and Embbed. Maybe this hack could be apply in MyDownloads.

I know WfDownloads can do that, but I want that feature enable by registered user, not for webmaster only.

The webmaster of Samurize give me the download url of hacked mydownloads. The link is here:

I try it myself, nothing different between the original mydownloads module. But I didn't go through the code. I hope wizanda could have fun with code. I'mnot PHP person.

I download it once again and upload it in my test server (localhost). It's the same but in the changelog

Hi JMorris, is it the hacked version? I think, I download MyDownloads from there before.

By the way, I contacted Samurize's webmaster and ask if he can share the module with me or not.

I want to provide to my site users a module that could allow them to upload their files. And I found MyDownloads module.

But when I installed and try to upload file, the submission form look like this:

What is the problem? To upload a file, user should upload that file into another 3rd party storage because user should enter the download url instead of browse and find the file locally.

When I visit Samarise.com, I found that the webmaster of Samarize also using MyDownloads module. But the submission form look like this:

Its allow user to upload file locally. How to configure MyDownloads module to set like Samurize website?

Problem solved. Initially I installed XOOPS using Fantastico. But when I try to fix some problem, I overwrie all files and folder manually using ftp. That might be some contradiction between them.

Hi wodnick, sorry I can't understand you. Could you elaborate more?

Currently, I checked <XOOPS_ROOT_PATH>/language/ & <XOOPS_ROOT_PATH>/modules/system/language/ and they are no missing files.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciated it but it didn't work.

What can I discover is, if the module using this kind of link for preferences link -http://<domain>/modules/system/admin.php?fct=preferences&op=showmod&mod=6

it will show that kind of page.
