Over the last couple of days I have been observing a whole lot of new user registrations on a site that would usually only have a couple of new users a week.
At the same time the webmaster email account for that site has picked up on the SPAM rate.
The registrants' email addresses appear valid but the owners don't respond when I contact them.
Am I being paranoid.

I had done all the things you've suggested, no luck. In fact, even when throwing everything on xcgallery open to anonymous users, including ADMIN rights, made no difference. Weird.
Anyway, probably not such a big deal. The rest of the module is exactly what I wanted so I'll put up with this one failing until I get a chance to look at the code.

Any idea why anonymous users can't be given access to images, despite all the settings indicating that they should have access?

I am more than happy to donate- XOOPS has been worthwhile for me and a number of groups I am involved with, especially some non-profit ones who have champagne tastes and beer pockets.
The Paypal privacy thing may be an over-reaction on my part, but I'm getting really pissed with the way some of these organisations gather information on the basis that it then becomes their property and asset.
