Can I use to Upgrade routine to connect with a db used for 2..018?

I just installed a clean 2.3 and want to use a data base used by 2.0.18. Do I upload the upgrade folder to upgrade the database for 2.3 use?

Hi Dslchart,

The home page is not xoops, I want to redirect that page to Xoops.

What I did is to use the redirect in php:
<?
Header( "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" );
Header( "Location:http://www.mypage/xoops" );
?>

Wondering if this was most efficient?

The new install will be not a problem. It did give me the upgrade options in "upgrade" it did show a migration from 2.0.14/2.0.15 /2.0.16 so I figure all was good

2.0.17 - mod mouse overs pop ups are hidding the mods/will not close

After installing 2.0.17 the mods in the Admin are acting up. The pop ups are now hiding the mod icons and the close link does not work. I tested in Firefox and Opera. However, my 2.0.16 install works fine.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Enabling auto notification upon a post or reply is needed. This feature is noted as needed in other CMS scripts but has yet made it to Xoops.

eiProject Inc. is creating a 503 Aware site and plans to tutor others how you can move towards creating more 508 compliant web pages. The construction of 508 friendly templates for XOOPS would of a great contribution.
