Why is NewBB 2.01 not displaying?

I'm attempting to update a Xoops 1.8 to 2.3.3, then to probably 2.4.5.

I've been manually moving the database over bit by bit to the one created by a fresh install.

I've run into few weird problems.
I can't access the NewBB 2.01
/modules/newbb/
Nor can I access any of the Topics/Posts.

The have made these block visible to the Top Page:
Recent Topics
Recent Topics

But they don't render.


Also I have noticed:
The Left Side Admin menu on a working version of Xoops2.3.3:
»System
»Polls
»Web Links
»Forum
»Downloads
»XML (RSS feed)

Is not being rendered.

Only the "System" module selection is visible.

Installed 2.45, but admin.php not rendering

I"m having a weird issue with my Xoops install.

I installed 2.4.5 and everything seems to be working fine except when I try to access:
/admin.php
No text is rendered.
When I view source, it's completely empty.

Hopefully, someone can help me understand what's going wrong.

Even when I create new blocks, they do not display blockContent.

Is this a template issue?

What else should I look at?

I checked the database which contains an uppercase 'C' in the block_type field.

It looks like all the data in that Field are Upper Case.

This is what the source looks like for the leftcolumn:

This looks like XOOPS is not rendering the content at all for CustomBlocks.

What I don't understand is why this data would not be rendered?

Someday I'll find someone that knows the answer to:

"Why is the contentBlock not displaying when it's in the database?"

blockContent is still not displaying on the site.

Is this an issue with XOOPS core or is it a template issue?
