Bare Minimum Code on Theme Template

Basically what I am looking for is the BARE MINIMUM information that needs to be coded to make a XOOPS page work (with no extra theme code added). I would like to start from the beginning with a clean slate instead of modifying an entire project based off of someone elses idea---I DON'T LIKE THAT. It's personalization time people.

I'm looking for either someone that may be able to provide the code itself, or direct me to which file this may be.

Sorry If I'm not specific enough. --Mike

Changing The Homepage Module

Hi everyone, I am having some problems with my homepage module. Yes, I know usually you can point a 'module' as the default main page, but I don't want to do that, I want to be able to make the top page modules put in the center of the homepage as well as the default news module placed on my front page. I have used "Blocks" in the admin sections but to NO AVAIL!!!

If you feel like taking the extra effort to login, you will see what I mean (Basically all content in the center). Or at lease making it available before people log in instead of just the news module. You make an account on mine, an I will make an account on yours...put your homepage. I'll refer back often.

A friend proposed commenting on profile pictures. Any suggestions on how this could be done? As for the webmasters, could this also be integrated into XOOPS 2.8?

I'll work on coding it for now, but any suggestions would be VERY helpful. www.eclypto.com

Have you tried uninstalling and then Re-installing the module - Just the partners mod? It could be that when you downloaded the module it was faulty in the first place. Maybe XOOPS solivania's copy is faulty itself? You should have them check it out and get a confirmation.

You might also want to sign into your XOOPS Admin panel and check out the code on the partners mod, it may be that the code is messed up. It would be a simple thing to correct if you knew what you were doing.

When you go tohttp://joel.is-a-geek.net/xoops/user.php
It says

Notice [PHP]: Use of undefined constant XOOPS_VERSION - assumed 'XOOPS_VERSION' in file class/template.php line 89

Does this mean that on line 89 on class/template.php there is a corruption? You may be able to fix this small problem instead of realoading XOOPS completely. Check it out.

Also, if anyone knows, why would a single file be corrupt upon download? How would this persons situation have to be different for that to happen?

Do you want to show the actual numbers (I have 45 members) or have a list of all of your members. I'm a bit confused. If you want to show the number of users that you have on your site then I can help you out there.

My website is www.eclypto.com. If you'll notice, I used this html code

Quote:
<html scrolling="no">

<frameset scrolling="no">
<frame src="http://www.eclypto.com/xoops-2.0.7/html">
<noframes scrolling="no">
<body>Your browser does not
handle frames! <a href="http://www.eclypto.com/xoops-2.0.7/html">Go HERE</a></body>
</noframes>
</frameset>

</html>

to put www.eclypto.com/xoops-2.0.7/html into JUST eclypto.com

I need to know how to make that bottom scrollbar GO AWAY because I've tried a lot of html and a little of a friends php. It's making me angry .
