I'm not quite sure how to do this so I hope you can clarify for me. Suppose the groupid of my new group is 4. Am I correct in saying that I should change

if (!$member_handler->addUserToGroup(XOOPS_GROUP_USERS$newid)) {

to

if (!$member_handler->addUserToGroup(4$newid)) {

This will work as long as it didn't need to be in the <head>. I have used this before. However, some parts need to be in the <head> and that's what I'm having problems with.

I was wondering whether it would be possible to run Javascript in XOOPS blocks. I tried to do it but I couldn't figure out how to put the part that would normally go under <head></head>. Any way to do this? Basically what I'm trying to do is run Javascript on some text to create some blinking/glowing effects.

When registering, new users are automatically put to the Registered Users group. I created another custom group in addition to this and renamed Registered Users to something else. My question is, is there a way to change the default group? When users register, they should be put into the new custom group instead of Registered Users.

I think you misunderstood my question. What I mean is I want a content that is arranged like this:

CenterCenter
CenterLeft - CenterRight
CenterCenter

Basically...one whole center block, followed by two blocks in the center...and then followed by a whole center block again. For example, is it possible to put two blocks (centerleft and centerright) between Recent Topics and Recent Comments in the front page of this site.

For me, it always shows the centerleft and centerright blocks at the bottom. Start module is set to none. I hope you guys understand now.

Guys, I'm trying to set up my front page with the following block layouts:

<b><center>Center - Center</center>
<center>Center - Center</center>
<center>Center - Left&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Center - Right</center>
<center>Center - Center</center></b>

I tried messing with the weights but it doesn't matter what I put, the

<b><center>Center - Left&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Center - Right</center></b>

part always shows up at the bottom of the page. Is there not a way to do this?

Wow thanks so much. I installed it and after trying to figure out for some time, I realized, I have to tick "Remember Me" to make it work. My bad. I can only find the "Remember Me" option on the Login block though but not on the user.php page if you know what I mean. I wish they have it on both. Anyway, thanks agian.

Does anybody know how to enable auto-login for 2.0.7? I looked at the wiki but they only have instructions for 2.0.6 and they kinda looked complicated to me. If anybody can point me to the corrent place I'll very much appreciate it. My users are kind of lazy to login every time they visit the site.
