@wishcraft: You are always welcome to work on Xoops Engine documentation :)

@redheadedrod: Wiki is the best tool for collaborative work but it is not very ideally for real-time WYSIWYG and document writers have to learn wiki syntax as well. DocBook is kinda 'standard' for technical documentation, I will check what collaborative toolkit for it.
Any other candidates?

I haven't fixed your problem yet. Perhaps you can add "/temp" to you allowed paths.

Xoops Engine source code

Currently Xoops code is hosted on sourceforge SVN.
How do you think about git?

If we transfer to git, there are two options:
1 use sourceforge git as main code hosting service and sync github repositories
2 use github as our main VCS

Your opinion?

BTW:
We are building github Xoops repositories athttps://github.com/xoops, please feel free to join.

We are also testing sourceforge git. I have problem with commit-msg and pre/post-commit hooks, if you have ever set up such hooks for sourceforge git, please let me know. I need you help.

@flipse, the installer will be refactored and upgrade could be added in beta stage.
